    I was so excited about ordering this embroidery kit. I had ordered less expensive kits but loved this design so much I decided to splurge on this kit. I was so disappointed that you have to hand-trace the design on the fabric! It was awful. With wash-away ink and designs, I have no idea why you have to hand-trace it in the hoop. It was difficult at best. Absolutely no excuse to not have an iron-on, wash-away, or pre-printed design, especially with all the detail in this design. I tried twice (once on each of the fabric provided) and was not happy with the result. I feel like a paid $40 for an absolute unsuable kit.

We know tracing can feel challenging at first, so we’d love to explain why we’ve chosen this method for our kits. Tracing with the provided heat-erasable pen means any guide marks still showing after stitching can easily be removed, leaving you with a clean, polished finish. Each kit also includes a reusable printed pattern, so you can stitch the design again on other projects like a shirt, tote bag, or another piece of fabric. Just to clarify the two pieces of fabric included in the kit, we recommend layering them together while stitching. The second layer adds extra stability and helps prevent thread shadows from showing through to the front, particularly with more detailed designs.
